    COUNT ME IN..

I have been struggling with going off the whole 30 after I had such great results, so I have decided to jump on board for October. I am going to officially start my 30 days on Saturday. Excited for some great results.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

    Today:
breakfast (after many days, I felt like having it): kuku sabzi
lunch: a small slice of rosted pork shoulder, leafy greens
dinner: smoked pork knuckle (mainly the skin and fat)

Leisure: not much - very busy; just one hour of walking, and I hope to spend two hours reading

Lunch - Leftover Beef and Vegi Soup

    Today:

    breakfast: none
lunch: ribeye with ghee and garlic, grilled fennel and a bit of lettuce
dinner: two bowls of roasted tomato soup

Leisure: one hour of walking. Last night I read until 4 a.m. Today is the last day of a very demanding 6-week project. I am going to enjoy this weekend - finally a weekend without work (except for some admin stuff life invoicing). To celebrate, I spent one hour in the bathtub and used the package of lavender bath salt bought for this occasion.

Can you eat dark chocolate on W30?

Without some every day I am worthless.

Yet despite that, in a modified paleo diet I have been dropping .3lbs day avge since the end of June. Didn't start all that serious in the beginning either.

Sorry, "No" on the dark chocolate. Go to Whole9 website, they outline their Whole 30 program very well. You sound like you're doing well on Paleo. W30 is pretty hard core. Although most lose weight on it, it is not intended as a weight loss program, it is a food elimination program to see which things you are eating are having an adverse affect on your health and well being. I love dark chocolate too, but I haven't missed it since the first week or so. Give it a shot!

Friday - Hiked a high peak in the Adirondacks. Having a huge issue with one of my knees. Hopefully it will be OK.
Stayed on plan, with the exception of perhaps the nuts and apples I ate that were not during meals, as I needed a bit of a snack and some quick energy. Since the food was compliant, I'm not going to worry about the scheduling of it, since it was an unusual and rigorous day.

Today_ Breakfast - eggs and tomato
Lunch - Tuna with greens and avocado
Dinner - Chicken thighs, roasted carrots, salad and apples.
I was going to walk and garden today, we'll see what happens with the knee.

    Keep going everyone!

I am on day 13. Feeling better each day but I seem to slowly run out of energy by the end of the day like around 3:30. I'm hoping this will slowly change to later in the afternoon.

B- 3 eggs, with sausage..4 cups of coffee, black

I have planned to eat this today:
L- hamburger patty with mayo and veggies
D- Pork roast with butternut squash and veggies

    Happy Weekend all!!

I'm on day 24 of a Whole30-turning-whatever. I'm just seeing so much progress in weight loss again after a sugar-induced plateau, that's I just want to keep plugging along.

And if you've eaten Primal for any amount of time, it's really not all that difficult. At least, I haven't found it all that difficult, but that's partly my personality. I love a good challenge.

I don't want to crowd you folks here, but if you want meal ideas, my journal might interest you. I'm always up for recipe sharing.
