    LOL. You'd probably want her recipes over mine.

    Hers are long, complex and tasteful. She makes the most amazing butter chicken by adding plently of spices and ingredients, marinating the chicken breast in GY and spices overnight and adding a splash of cream at the end for perfection. All her stuff is done by recipe with excellent stepo by step instructions and measured ingredients.

    Mine, on the other hand are like: "Put bacon in pan. Put potato in microwave. Fry bacon, microwave potato. Eat the resulting concoction" or "Cottage cheese + fruit = nom". I wish I was kidding about that. :P

    In terms of a blog... I considered it once. But never got around to it. This Journal pretty much is my blog.

    Btw our eats are pretty much synchronised, Adrian and ebrady, have you noticed? :P We all eat Cottage cheese, have our lamb/fish flairs, Adrian and I share a love of dates and gelatin and ebrady and I rice. And all of us, chocolate. We're like the Chocolate musketeers. It's pretty cool. ^_^

    Wow, just typing that date made me realise - three more days and I'm nineteen, an old man. Whew.

    Just finished my CO/Protein coffee - still need more gelatin, but whatever. About to hit the gym and finish yesterday's workout:
    • BENCH - 3x8x62.5-65
    • DIPS - 3x10x15

    And maybe some other stuff depending on how I feel.

    I've boiled up some rice for sushi after the gym - leftover salmon sushi, om nom nom. Then afterwards I'm visiting my nan either as a home-visit or we'll go to the mall, depending on the weather.

    Tomorrow, Sunday and Monday are pretty much gonna be But what are Macros? days - tommorow my girlfriend and two closest Uni friends are gonna go out and celebrate my birthday early (won't see the friends for four weeks due to practicum, including on my birthday) which means uber amounts of Kiwiyo and snackage, and I'm spending the night at the girl's house. Sunday is mainly being spent wit her all day, which means we'll probably go to this nice little chocolate cafe that serves great ice cream. We usually have a cooked breakfast together (I hate solid food in the AM, but for her, anything), also.

    And Monday is my birthday. Tracking macros on my birthday? Um, ensuring I get enough protein and log for morning coffee and whatever I bring to school for lunch is as far as I'm going. Then it's hitting the buffet for all you can eat madness I'd usually ensure hitting protein and fat, but this is an all you can eat buffet - steak, chicken, ham potatoes, ice cream, chocolate mousse, whipped cream, fruit salad - yeah, I'm easily gonna get enough of all teh macros

    2 days til I'm 19...

    Okay. Gonna have to rush here. This is how things are going down.

    Drinking mny coffee - gelatin, C/O and a pinch of salt in the mug with whole milk, cocoa powder and whey in the shaker = bestest morning protein drink ever.

    I'm about to hit the gym for squats and deads. My girl is meeting me at around 10am (it's 8:08am now), she's gonna stay for a bit and then we're meeting with our other two Uni friends (whoI bumped into yesterday BTW... will update the journal to talk next time I have, well, time) to spend the day on the beach, chilling at the shops and - undoubtedly - Kiwiyo,

    The reason? Me. This is meant to be like a early birthday party for me, since I won't see the other two for four weeks or more on Practicum. Will aware you on that later, but they are really, really great friends.

    Anyway, there's been a hitch in the plans.

    I was meant to go back to my girlfriends tonight, at her aunt and uncle's. We were gonna cook dinner, watch a movie, snuggle up and all that. The problem. She didn't realise she had work at til 11. She thought her work (on a concert) was next weekend, but is today, and starts at 4pm and ends at 11pm. I'm honestly uncertain if I'll still stay the night. I'm racking my brain, here. Thing is, we won't be able to do anything. She'll be exhausted from work and hungry, but unable to eat or cook anything because her aunt's a bitch and will complain about noise (long story).

    So... yeah. Not sure how things are gonna go.

    What I do know, though, is I'm gonna have an amazing day today, one way or another. Gonna hit the deads and squats, try to get 60+ on my squat and maybe take it easy on the dead (tired, wuld rather work on squat and save deads for when I feel I can tear the world in half), and toss in some assistance stuff.

    I'll keep the writing short but sweet because I'm going out real soon, but the jist of it:
    Saturday
    Saturday was nice. As I last posted, went out with my girlfriend and best friends to grab some Kiwiyo and get given prezzies, which were:
    • Lots of Thomas the Tank Engine stuff (joke, based on my name - easy enough to decipher, now)
    • Batman suit and undies (because freaking Batman)
    • Molasses liquorices
    • Two awesome note things
    • A beer

    Afterwards we chilled, went to Laser-tag but it was full, went bowling, but it was full, went to play pool but it was bloody full so we settled for a coffee at the Plant Barn.
    Then I was dropped off at home where my girlfriend went to work and I ate dinner (wedges and dip) and a proteiny dessert shake thing. Then she picked me up at 11 and I stayed at hers for a bit.
    ... Yes, a bit. Was going to stay the night, but her aunt/uncle were drunk and loud with friends, so I left. Eventually called my Dad and he gave me a ride hone, collapsed into bed.

    Sunday

    Woke up to 20+ texts from the girl worry about me... She apparently was asleep when I said I was going out and so had no idea where I was. I did my best to make it up to her. Made us both breakfast:

    ^That's her breakfast. A bacon omelette with sliced banana/strawberry lightly dusted in powdered sugar and a cup of tea. Only managed to snap that pic - but I had 3 x eggs/bacon/potato along with fried asparagus and a protein shake.

    We spent the whole day in bed - both exhausted, her moreso than me. She fortunately forgave me, then we parted ways and she wished me a happy "last 18th" day.

    Parents have been into making shakes lately so they bought a new, far more effective blender. I think I'll have these more often - it was amazing.

    It's Wednesday tomorrow and the girl's coming for dinner, and adores spaghetti, so we're having GF spaghetti bolognaise, so I sampled some pasta to see if it was okay to eat - a lot of GF products are plain vile. This one was just plain plain. So... meh, it'll do.'

    Well, first off, I think it's great your parents are coming around about the protein powder. It really is quite cheap per serving of protein in the long run over meat, and could help your budget.

    In terms of the powder... I hope you made a typo... if not, that is the worst protein powder I have ever seen in my life. 100g = 26g of protein?! WHAT? That's, like, chicken breast or pork loin macros, not powder! You'd expect that from 30g or one scoop of protein, but for 100g? That's a crazy price, I'd recommend another brand.
