Primal Blueprint 21 day challenge [wairimu M]
Gained 11 pounds that I am struggling to lose. Hoping that this challenge will help me get there. The hardest part will be getting enough exercise and drinking less.
Also just started a new job and moved countries, so I hope that I will learn to cope with stress better and generally have better quality of life.
Good luck on the challenge!
L: eggplant, grilled chicke, zucchini, olive oile
D: chinese cabbage, carrot, grapefruit salad with olive oil vinaigrette, steak
B: coffee, egg, avocado
L:3 eggs (in olive oil), zucchini, eggplant, cucumber
D: small piece of fish, gigantic salad with olive oil, avocado, bit of grapefruit
20 minutes walk, 15 min stretch (with a set of pushups in there)
I usually don't have breakfast because I'm rarely hungry in the morning. But since I just started a new job I couldn't wait till lunch yesterday before scarfing down my lunch. So I had some eggs in the morning, Wasn't hungry all day but felt obliged to eat my lunch (because of the delicious avocado!!)
Feeling relaxed and not so tired after my walk and stretch. Baby steps because I want to work back up to doing yoga religiously. Love Mark's post about acknowledging little wins, I don't do that nearly enough.

been working on my 4 hours of slow movement. Started walking after work and it helps so much with my mood. Which is great because I convince myself that I'm too 'tired' to work, until I get started and it's great. Boiling some beets that I will enjoy for the next couple of days with lots of vinegar. Just wondering though, their carb content is lowish, but because they are so sweet they confuse me, given that I dont work out nearly hard enough to justify a carb load/refeed
L: chicken with beets and red cabbage
D: lamb, lettuce, avocado, olive oil +2 glasses white wine
Feeling very good, good energy levels and reduced appetite. Walked for an hour today too! started stretching in my office, tried working while standing but desk is way too low lol
end of the 21 day challenge but I still have some way to go: started calorie counting because I read Dr Mcdonald's posts about weight loss and from previous experience, I agree with him. Anyway, I did not really cheat during the challenge- had lots of peanuts and a couple of glasses of wine/ beer during weekends. Lost half an inch in body measurements. This was kind of weird for me because my scale broke down- well I don't trust it because I apparently lose and gain 3kg in a matter of minutes so I actually have no idea how much | weigh. Will go for a couple more weeks and then find a way to weigh myself
