That sounds super easy (and delicious). I usually do it the other way round - chop and saute the pumpkin and onion, add the stock and cook through, then mash or blend and finally serve with some coconut cream, bacon bits and chopped herbs.
But your way sounds great, does the stock get warm enough just blended into your hot veges or do you reheat it all again?

Yeah, that sounds like a good twist on the usual recipe since you roasted all the vegetables. I'm a huge fan of winter squash in any way, shape, or form.
I do that too but I like to add curry powder and some shredded turkey to it. Super good!
