Very appealing. I'm really starting to enjoy simple food, simply and lightly cooked.

Yeah, I've got a few ideas from this. Thanks, pal.

I have to admire your persistence with the rear end of the pig. That French sausage I had was all I ever needed to know about the back end of a pig! Heavily spiced, I can see it working ... you did just that.

Looks tasty, and what is more soul-satisfying than hot, flavorful soup? But, not sure I can do chitterlings. I can see the hubs dropping a major nay-no on them, too, though that boy loves him some pho. Anyone have comments on those shirataki noodles I see ads for occasionally?

    Use some rice noodles, lass.

Sliced pig ass is an acquired taste. Very acquired.

I believe you and will not be requiring my own independent verification on that one! I'm okay with the occasional rice noodle so that is an option. But, I try to keep the high glycemic stuff to a minimum otherwise I start getting hungry all the time, usually for sweets.

... my thoughts on eating pretty much the same part of the pig in France's (in)famous sausage: Living in the Ice Age: Andouillette Sausage

It was curiously moreish. But boy, did it taste of ass! What Kitoi did was very sensible. Spice. Lots of it.
