    The answer to life, the universe, and everything

    Primal Fuel
    is 42.

    Except when it comes to health. Then the answers are:

    • Stop eating dairy.
    • Eat dairy all you want if you can handle it.
    • Donít eat fruit.
    • Eat fruit Ďtil youíre squirting watermelon seeds out of your butt.
    • Eat more fat.
    • Eat less fat.
    • Donít eat sugar.
    • Donít eat artificial sweeteners.
    • Organic sugar made from the sweat of virgin vegetarian unicorns is the healthiest if you must eat something sweet.
    • Avoid bpa.
    • Donít worry about bpa.
    • Eat fewer carbs.
    • Eat more carbs.
    • Eat coconut oil.
    • Drink MCT oil.
    • Put butter in your coffee.
    • Donít put butter in your coffee.
    • Drink as much coffee as you want.
    • Donít drink any coffee.
    • Work out until youíre lumpy.
    • Donít work out because the skinny junkie look is very hip.
    • Get some sun.
    • Just eat VitD Ė a bazillion units per day.
    • Eat fatty fish.
    • Donít eat too much fish or youíll get mercury poisoning.
    • Eat liver.
    • Donít eat too much liver or youíll get VitA poisoning.
    • Eat organs like liver, sweetbreads, tripe, tongue, and heart.
    • Tongue and heart arenít organs, theyíre muscles.
    • Rice is a grain.
    • White rice is a null food.
    • Eat white rice occasionally for diversity in your diet.
    • Eat white rice as much as you want.
    • White potatoes have a decent nutritional profile for a carb.
    • Sweet potatoes are the most healthy. (Are not. Are too.)
    • Mark Sisson doesnít know what heís talking about.
    • Ray Peat is a freak.
    • A daily BM is healthy.
    • Donít worry if you donít have a daily BM because itís likely youíre eating less bulk than you used to do.
    • Eat eggs every day.
    • If you eat eggs every day, you might end up with a reaction to them.
    • Start the day with a dozen eggs fried up in a cup of bacon grease with a side of one pound of bacon, and a can of coconut cream.
    • Start the day with a stick of butter in your coffee.
    • Start the day with water or tea or black coffee.
    • IF means eating one meal a day.
    • IF means having a two hour window for eating.
    • IF means having an 18 hour for not eating.
    • For some reason, a some women are too delicate for IF.
    • IF means eating three meals plus two snacks at regular intervals throughout the day Ė the three hours between is fasting!
    • Eat more.
    • Eat less.

    Mmmmm.... pizza. You know they say that you tend to remember best the first and the last thing you read. Pizza here I come!

    But yeah, good post. It's also funny that somehow over the past few years I have come to develop strong opinions on all of those! Haha

    Great post, Joanie.

    Yes, anyone who came to the Primal Blueprint to learn about the Primal Blueprint, would do well to start as you suggest.
    Starting Weight: 197.5
    Current Weight: 123
    Lost 75# eating low carb (20-40 g) and then MDA primal low carb. Tried many other options but only LC helped me lose weight and improve health. Now at a good weight, I find my body can tolerate a few more carbs but rarely go over 100 g.

    I agree, except from your bias against artificial sweeteners...

    Thank you Joanie. If all of the "opinions" being spewed forth on the forum nowadays were here 9 months ago when I started a Primal lifestyle I would have run for the hills. The nonsense spewers/carb evangelists are actually hurting people by confusing them whether they realize it or not. Or maybe that is their goal.....

    I feel sorry for new people--when I first started lurking I think there were only a few people with dissenting opinions, now it feels like no one can agree on anything. Not really a complaint, just an observation--at least it's entertaining.
