suggestions for pork loin rib drippings
I made pork loin ribs in my slow cooker tonight, with onions. I have a lot of fat/liquid left over and I don't have the slightest idea what to do with it. Any ideas?
Put it back in the slow cooker with the leftover rib bones and lots of water and cook it for at least 8 hours to make pork stock!
You could use some to try to make a sauce to go with the ribs. Take some and reduce it on the stove, add some wine, water or other liquid, taste to make sure it's not too strong/salty, then add butter or cream and reduce to desired consistency. At least that's my method; there're probably better ways to make sauces, hehe.
