Technology overload - Put down the damn phone!

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
I believe getting back in touch with our primal ancestry requires unplugging from technology for awhile each day. This video is a mirror on our use of the smart phone. My advice...put down the damn phone!....It won't hurt you to disconnect from technology for an hour or two each day.

How many of you take a technology break each day?

Hah. Me too. Once or twice a week I take a long walk through woods or on the beach, and I leave my phone at home on purpose. It does feel so good to be unplugged.

Does sleeping count towards the hour or two?

Ha ha....I hear you. How about becoming a nature addict? Unplug get outside, breathe deep, connect with nature, move, climb a tree, smell the roses and perhaps. God forbid actually talk to somebody face to face.

I believe that my cell phone is a convenience for me, not for anyone else. So while I have it with me about 75% of the time, I only "use" it when it's convenient. Probably most of my use is listening to music.

I do not carry a phone with me at all times, neither does my husband or 15 yr old son. Honestly I can't understand what people are doing on their phones all the time.

I also don't understand how everyone can afford them.

Heh ....Ive had my sim card wiped twice due to lack of use (apparently if you don't use the phone for about 5-6 months they decide it must have been lost/stolen & steal back the phone number & the 20 of credit I had on the PAYG phone )
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

My prepay with Verizon did that after just one month. It went mia recently and I cba to replace it.

Urban, it blows my mind that many of my peers get paid less and yet have cars and smartphones. I guess their parents still support them or something.

I leave my phone at home sometimes when I go for a walk but I'm also addicted to the data (how far did I go and how quickly). I also use it for music/podcasts.
