Advice on primal, crossfit and my goals...am I doing everything right?
ok, so I have been back to eating primally since August 2 (19 days). And have introduced crossfit into my training regimen (last month). I am loving the crossfit! I come from a powerlifting and triathlon background (weird combo I know!) Crossfit is amazing! I have also come to the conclusion that primal is the way my body NEEDS to fuel. I have tried a lot of other stuff, and eating primally is the way my body likes it. I feel much more in tune with my body like this.....like we are a team rather than me vs. it!! I am also blood type O+, so pretty sure I am destined to eat like Grok! Anyway, I am trying to become as fit as humanely possible (for me), and the ultimate goal is to try and compete in the crossfit games. I track everything I eat and do using Fitday.com, I have dropped the alcohol from my diet, I eat 90% primal (feta cheese being a weakness for me!) I drink only water, green tea and the occasional black coffee. I do crossfit 4 times a week, run 3 times a week (one sprinting session), and lift heavy twice a week. I take two full days off from training (do active recovery only). I sleep between 7-9 hours a night in a dark quiet room. I am a 5'6 " tall female, 34 years old, 184 lbs. My 1 RM bench press is 205 lbs, 1RM Deadlift 315 lbs, 1 RM Back Squat 245 lbs, 1RM Front Squat 185 lbs, I can do 10 wide grip pull ups and run my 5 km in about 26:30, my mile in 7:25. I would love to knock these times down!! I am probably around 26% bf at the moment and would LOVE to be 19%! I am taking in on average 1800-2000 Cal a day. I have started to see some changes, such as my veins becoming more visible on my legs and arms and my fat on my stomach seems more "squishy". I also seem to have lost fat near my hip flexors as I can see veins there now and it is super lean in that spot (weird??!!) Anyway, I started at 188lbs, so I am down 4 lbs but my measurements have not budged. Any thoughts? I think I am moving in the right direction, I just thought I would see more weight loss by now, mind you I am very muscular as is.....I just want this flabby stomach to dissappear!! Should I still be counting calories? Am I eating enough? Any thoughts/suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance!!
You rock already!

Thanks Stacy15! I appreciate it. I am probably being too impatient. I am gald to see that I am not the only one with the old "stomach flab won't go away no matter what I do" issue! lol I will keep tracking my progress for sure. Let me know how it is going for you.
You're already in a caloric deficit and have a high activity level. As long as your energy is good, I'd just stick with it.
I agree! If your energy is down then your not eating enough! Your activity level seem pretty demanding for 1800 calories. Active recovery goes along way! Glad your taking those days. Good luck.
