Newbie in NY
Someone on the MDC (MotheringDotCommune) message boards was talking about eating primal and primal exercise, so I searched and found this site.
I'm a 26 year old mom with four children; aged 9, 6, 4 and 2.
I was in pretty good shape after kids #1, 2 and 3, but I hung onto all of the weight I gained while I was pregnant with kid #4. Now kid #4 is going to be turning three years old in July.
In December 2009, I was 161 pounds and 5'2". I started working out every day at the YMCA keeping a food journal and counting calories. I'm currently 142 pounds, but very tired of the calorie counting. I need to find a different way to eat that will help me lose fat and get in shape.
I think I'm going to read up on the "primal" stuff and give it a try.
I'm in NY too, near Corning. =) Just a couple hours from you.
