Shoulder Surgery and Recovery Question
I am undergoing athroscopic shoulder surgery tomorrow.
Tried for almost a year to get rid of the impingement syndrom I had developed before going primal.
Turns out physical therapy aint working due to a little bit of bone from under my shoulder standing out and
slightly piercing my supraspinatus.
After looking at in on the MRT my orthopaedic physician and me decided that surgery is the only way to get rid of that problem permanently.
So here is my question:
Is there anything I can do do optimize the healing and recovery process ?
I intend to eat extremely clean during the recovery phase, but do I need to cut out dairy too ?
I have no problems so far including dairy in my diet in the form of butter, heavy cream and raw milk cheese.
Northern European heritage probably helped with not being lactose intolerant.
Still would it be bettet to skip the dairy I eat from my diet during recovery ?
Any other suggestions to speed up recovery are also very welcome.
Anyone else having experience with shoulder surgery and recovery ?
