I have heard good things about both. I have the Adidas power perfect II and am very happy with them.

I have the Adidas Powerlifts. Solid shoe at a pretty good price. Keep in mind befor buying them that your squat form will HAVE to change with these shoes. Squat mechanics will be much different, especially if you squat with flat shoes and/or a low bar position.

I would stick to chucks until you are squatting well over 300lbs and need the extra stability.

I have heard good things about both.Running shoes also helps the runner to run more safely and ease. Weight training shoes have a strap that is designed to secure the foot into place to prevent it from moving forwards in the shoe.

Love my do-wins. My foot is too wide for the Romaleos and have never tried the adidas brand...
