    Hypothyroidism and extreme PMS?

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
I was diagnosed as hypothyroid in Nov and my levels are now normal (taking Synthroid). Before my diagnosis, I was getting crazy pms and periods every second week. Now my period is back to once a month but I am still getting HORRIBLE pms (depression, swollen, breast tenderness, fatigue). Anyway, it is really affecting my life negatively. I was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions on how I might be able to combat this? I've been eating primal but haven't noticed any improvements with the PMS.
    Thanks!

What you are experiencing is PMDD, unfortunatelly the only way I found to combat it was to go on birth control.

Have you had your hormone levels tested? That would be a good place to start. For me, depression & fatigue (overall as well as primarily the week preceding my period) was combated by Vitex. I had low progesterone.

Currently trying to figure out WTF to eat (for IBS-C).
