I, too, have cooked my chicken in the crockpot. It is always juicy and fantastic - you can use the leftover water for chicken broth for a fantastic soup!
But the best way I have EVER made a whole chicken (and I do this ALL THE TIME!) from FROZEN or fresh.....my flavorwave oven. Cooks it fast! Crispy skin on the outside and super juicy on the inside. Best $100 (on ebay) I ever spent. I use my flavorwave for A Lot of fast and easy cooking - even from FROZEN!! it's amazing!
