Yeah, I just heard it on the radio today too. I guess they do it in 2 states right now to testmarket the item. Also, I don't really understand the reason behind creating such a sandwich. If it's suppose to be low-carb, what about breading on a chicken and KDC sauce? If it's suppose to be healthy, no one will go for it because people are afraid of fat. It's also pretty expensive.

Am I crazy to think that would be awesome?

I kinda want one now... what states are they in, does anyone know?

Eating lots but still hungry? Eat more fat. Mid-day sluggishness? Eat more fat. Feeling depressed or irritable? Eat more fat. People think you've developed an eating disorder? Eat more fat... in front of them.

If the chicken wasn't breaded, it might be OK in a pinch.

I first saw it on http://www.thisiswhyyourefat.com/

    I like the idea.

Now I'm thinking of grilled meat wrapped around more meat.

There is a cut of meat called mutamba (sp?) which I think is the thin bit of meat around a cows stomach. Apparently it's used to wrap around diced meat, eggs, etc and then cooked like a roast.

I'll have to ask the Italian butcher about it again...

    Grains (wheat/rice/oats etc) . . . . . Dairy (milk/yogurt/butter/cheese etc) . . . . . Nightshades (peppers/tomato/eggplant etc)
    Tubers (potato/arrowroot etc) . . . Modernly palatable (cashews/olives etc) . . . Refined foods (salt/sugars etc )
    Legumes (soy/beans/peas etc)

    FWIW:

Carl's Junior has a "Low-Carb" Six-Dollar burger for $3.95. It's an Angus burger patty wrapped in lettuce leaves with lots of onion and tomato.

I'm thinking, if you have to eat at one of those places....

I dunno... maybe I think it looks decent because I'm thinking of a home-cooked version. I don't remember the last time I set foot in a fast food place, so... my frame of reference may be off.
