Change light output on computers ??

    Primal Fuel
Someone here mentioned a site that you can download; it will apparently modulate your computer light settings to not emit the blue tones that mess w/ your natural rhythms -- has anyone tried it, called f.lux? Kresser talks about it too.

Also, have you tried it w/ a mac system? I've heard it can be wonky w/ macs...

thanks for any info, just curious!

I use it on my laptop, it is great. I highly recommend it. There is also a similar app called Twilight for Android that does basically the same thing. I have no experience using f.lux on Macs.

Works well on my Mac. I've been enjoying it for a while now. I'm a night person, and it makes the display much easier on my eyes in the small hours.

Another happy f.lux/ Mac user here. I wish I could get it on my iPhone!

I use it on my lap top and it's working right now. I have occasional bouts of insomnia and it's nice to read and play cards without making my brain think it's day time.

I've used f.lux on my home pc for a few years, love it. I was also happy to find a similar app for my phone after upgrading from an iPhone to an Android. It's called Twilight.
If you're interested in my (very) occasional updates on how I'm working out and what I'm eating click here.

I've been thinking about doing this for a while. I didn't realize it was free. Now I've done it.
