MCT Oil - low carb
I have done a search on this forum but cant find the answer to my questions, so Im hoping some of you guys can answer them for me!
I have a tbsp of MCT oil (pure) in my morning coffee with butter, which keeps me going until about 3pm when I then eat my first meal.
I am eating low carb too so this helps to produce a strong ketosis reading.
However, to keep the ketosis high, should I up my MCT daily amount and by how much?
Is there a maximum without getting the 'trots'?
Also, is there any advantage to having MCT oil before going to bed so ketosis continues through the night? Or will it keep me awake?
Any ideas? / suggestions?
