    Just made a reservation at the Pit for lunch tomorrow. May be able to hit up a different restaurant for dinner too (depends on whether my friend can stand to have barbeque two meals in a row ). I'm going to stick to the Eastern style sauce. Squeee!!!!

    Ole Time is one of my favorites. Amazing ribs!

    In Chapel Hill I liked The Pig, and they have BBQ from pastured pigs! The Pig Restaurant :: Serving Whole Hog BBQ

    If you stop by the state farmer's market in Raleigh you MUST stop by the Nahunta store. All sorts of hard to find pork products, plus a powdered bbq sauce mix so you can make your own NC style sauce once you get home.

    I've went to Danny's once and I was unimpressed. It was good, but I've had much better.
