As I said, fruit, and if you tolerate them(remember to cook them thoroughly) then starches. How much of each only you can say. You may need to track for a while.
You need to forget the carbs/sugar=fat thing. If you want em, eat em. Fat intake may have to be reduced slightly.
Thanks everyone! Good advice. I'll keep carbs moderate, and as I enjoy and digest fruit best, I think I'll include more fruit than starch- but what I'm taking away mostly is that I need carbs when I feel I need them. Listening to my body....hmm.... how novel.
