    I think the overwhelming promotion of Crossfit leaves a bad taste with some. It's a business, not a workout.

    What did people do before Crossfit? Nothing?

    Just what I'm talking about. If you look at my initial response you'll see that it was actually constructive and tried to provide help. It didn't make smarmy remarks like some others.

    Y'all need to re-read the original post. It didn't ask for opinions, positive or negative, on CrossFit yet they all came flying out the window.

    CrossFit is a controversial topic, so no matter what, there's going to be backlash whenever it's discussed. People will throw their 2 cents in regardless of the question, that's just how it is.

    I'm not going to say that Cross fit has no positive points, of course it has and anyone that takes it up would see some positive results. My argument is that to me it has too many flaws, many of which could/will cause injury sooner or later.
    IMO there are far more productive ways to workout.
