Hi all,

I just wanted to say "Hi!" and introduce myself.

I've been reading MDA for a while now, and bit by bit incorporating more of the Primal Blueprint into my life. I've been quite overweight for many years, after having yo-yo dieted my way up the scale to about 260 pounds (I'm 5' 6"). In the past 3-4 years, however, I've dropped 40 pounds mostly by keeping a food journal, planning my meals a bit more and beginning to get more regular exercise (mostly walking). About a year ago I began working with a trainer twice a week for strength training and I'm loving lifting heavy things!

I'm looking forward to hanging around here as I turn into a full-fledged Grokette.

P.S. I just got my copy of the Primal Blueprint Cookbook in the mail yesterday! I'm looking forward to cooking up a storm this weekend.
