Heavy whipping cream has no carbs in it. Can ice cream be made from that?
Flavoring it with 88% dark chocolate and/or bakers chocolate sounds like it could be good...maybe a bit of brown cinnamon.

    Thoughts?

Take the frozen banana, slice it up, and add fresh blueberries. Nom!

Ooh - maybe tomorrow I'll put the blueberries in the freezer 30 minutes before serving...

Lol..I am addicted to them. I may try watermelon and water, but I think the coconut milk is key. I want to make a chocolate one too.

I'm not a complete sugarphobe but commercial brands use way too much for me. The most acceptable brand I've found is So Delicious no sugar/coconut/mint chip.

Co-signing the DIY suggestions above. An ice cream maker is a good investment.
    My basic recipe:
    1 can coconut milk
    2 egg yolks
    1 envelope gelatin powder
    2 tbsp vodka
    sweetener of choice
all other embellishments: vanilla, peppermint, cocoa, coffee, fruit, nut butter

Heat until everything dissolves then blend
Things like chopped nuts or cacao nibs/grated chocolate can be added a few minutes before the machine finishes.

Dave Asprey's Bulletproof "Get Some" ice cream is something you make at home and he posts the recipe for FREE

IT's also in his Upgraded Chef paleo cook book.

It is non-dairy, and full fat, it's not a CHEAT! It's a great way to put some fat in your diet and adhere mostly to your plan. I love the stuff and it tastes nearly as good as any other ice cream. We've gotten really good at putting big chocolate chunks in it....

Recipe: Creamy Coconut “Get Some” Ice Cream (Paleo friendly)

I love it. Wow I must be lucky cause the Twins ice cream is in my grocers freezer at the WHole Foods local competitor. (read: cheaper)
