Wasnt sure where to post, I am just so excited that I had to post somewhere Look what was just delivered to my door!!! Now I buy farm eggs all the time, but I have to track them down - either from the one fella that lives over yonder waaaay out in BFE, or I have to drive out to Amish/Mennonite country, or go to the produce auction, or go to the Dutch store..... so I have a number of options but it is a drive. I never knew my neighbor lady just up the road had chickens! They get 3 dozen a day for just the 2 of them. I am in heaven! Oh, and $1.50 per dozen!!

She said before long she will start having duck eggs.

    65lbs gone and counting!!

I hope you're eating pastured eggs if you're taking in that many!

Blue eggs! (Well, that's what it looks like on my laptop.) I didn't know chickens did blue!

Those are beautiful. Auracana hens lay blue eggs...I believe. $1.50 a dozen? You are a lucky duck. Pun intended.

Thank you for being brave and honest enough to let us know what's been going on. Be kind to yourself, and best of luck with your efforts in taming the sugar demon. I understand very well what you've been going through. Hugs.

Interesting thread. I always wondered what would happen if I ate 36 eggs a day. Earlier this year I was reading Vince Gironda stuff, the guy was way ahead of his time, and defined nutrition in the golden age of building. He used to say eating massive amounts of eggs could kick-start hormones. But calorie wise I could never figure out how to fit that many eggs into my day, along with other foods.
