Love being Primal an it's only been a week!

I've had so much trouble losing weight, even with all the running I do. First week of Primal has seen me lose 1.6kg. Looking forward to this weeks weigh in.

    That's great!
However, "even with all the running I do" should change to "because of all the running I do"

    Would you mind clarifying that?

Also, congrats Soulrunner. I've just recently gone primal myself, and it's an awesome lifestyle change.

Certainly is FallSight. I was finding it hard to shift the "middle aged spread", which I thought was a myth until I experienced it! It's running scared now, should be back in my jeans in no time : ).

Soulrunner, welcome and congrats on your progress to date.

"All the running you do" sounds like "chronic cardio", a primal no-no. Better to move around a lot slowly, lift a few heavy things and put in an occasional sprint.

Are you enjoying your food, I think it's the BEST.

Loving the food! Running is something I enjoy so much and I love to enter events so I'm pretty much training, to some degree, all the time. I do realise that it is chronic cardio and a no-no but don't want to get out of it for now.
Have now got hubby on the Primal, he is loving the instant results.

Hey! I love running so much and have been running for a few years now! But I was ALWAYS overweight and never understood why because as far as I was concerned I ate well (no junk food) and exercised heaps! When I realized it was the carbs AND exercise that were eliminating any signs of weight loss (goes against everything I was ever taught in school) I changed to primal! I stopped exercising all together for about three weeks at the beginning and now I'm back into it and feeling better than ever. I felt really crap for the first couple of weeks when I was exercising again. I have to run quite soon after eating otherwise I wont have enough energy to sustain me. How are you finding the running while primal? What distances are you doing?
