For some reason, even as a non-runner, I love sprinting uphill. I am fortunate enough to have trails within 1/2 hour drive and can dash up a few hills with my dogs, then cruise back to the car at a slower pace. The feeling of happy exhaustion is hard to beat.

I'm the opposite, I like to walk up the hills and go hard on the down hill. Where I live is the same, I have 2 national parks around me and there are so many to choose from, trail running is my fave but will run on the road if I have to. Happy exhaustion rules!
I also have dogs, they are great personal trainers.

    Hi Lucila.

Soulrunner, congrats on getting your other half on board with primal. Way to go when you are both doing it together.

Annieh, where in Aotearoa are you from? I'm from Golden Bay, top of the South Island.

Not quite my back yard, perhaps half hour drive. Hint: You would have to cross the strait and then drive a good 4-5 hours.
