Shawshank is a class movie. Wish it was a book.

there is a book with the same title by Stephen King.
The movie was an adaptation of it.

I've read it, it was a very short story very loosely based on the film.

A nice big long 5-600 page belter would have been great.

    1) The Big Lebowski
    2) The Godfather
    3) My Neighbour Totoro

The ridiculous, hilarious, sometimes infuriating and frustrating journal of one woman trying to feed a family caveman style.

In terms of the number of times I've watched them:
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
    Blade Runner

A personal, all-time favorite because it's just such grand fun:
    The Fifth Element

And one I've watched only twice so far but which is magnificent in every way:
The Maltese Falcon (the third version, of course)

There are others, but I've already broken the three-movie limit.

Hmmmmmm hard choice, but I would say:

    Fight Club
    Progression
    (the climbing movie)
Propaganda (maybe not favorite, but I just saw it, and it's spot on. It's a propaganda film about propaganda from North Korea.)
