I was just re-reading Gary Taubes' "Why We Get Fat". There is a part where he mentions something like this (this is not an exact quote, but you'll get an idea):
I was just wondering: wouldn't it be nice to have a table of foods and their impact on different types of cholesterol? Something like this for e.g:"...take lard for example. If you eat lard, 40% of lard's fat is XYZ type which raises the good (HDL) cholesterol, the rest of the fat does not impact the bad cholesterol (LDL) and lowers Triglycerides. So overall, the negative impact is neutral."
