When I'd had enough of the grain and starched based 'diabetic eating for health' diet (eating for health, my ass!) my weight was 242.5 lbs. On starting primal- 18th April 2013 weight : 238.1.
27th July 2013. weight after 100 days 136.9 weight lost 101.2lb ; that's 105.6lbs since I stopped the 'diabetic eating for health'

You have come to the right place to get lots of support and good ideas - take the changes and run with them. I think it is excellent that you have cut out the sugar and crisps. Those two are hard to cut out - once you start making changes and sticking with them you'll be surprised how the momentum will start to carry you along. Good luck!

I haven't got an allotment yet but I am going to look at one of the sites in my town, apparently they're 30 x 10 metres which is more than substantial, not to mention my girlfriends step-dad also has an allotment and had 7 chicks hatch last week so I'm gunna get some advice off him so hopefully in addition to a tonne of vegetables I will have eggs and meat once I learn how to slaughter and prepare the birds.

Went down to see about an allotment last night, handed in my name however they aren't sure how many people are on the list so could take a while, will have to get an alllotment in a less sought after area of town and learn the basics before moving over at a later date.
