    Greetings and salutations

    Primal Fuel
Hi. I am Jason, a 40-ish nurse from the upper midwest. I stumbled onto mark's post about grains and lectins late last year, and started my primal path early this year.

My main reasons for changing are eighteen months of abdominal complaints, and three years of chronic, but fairly substantial left ankle pain. I am pleased to say that a vast majority of both complaints have resolved.

Dietary failings are alcohol (recently switched from ale to wine, and down-moderated my intake) and dairy, of which I eat yogurt once daily, and will have a whole milk, dark chocolate mocha perhaps thrice weekly.

Down from 220 BMI 33.5 to around 200 with BMI of 30.5 last time I bothered to weigh in.

Anyway, cheers, and thanks to mark.

Welcome! I'm originally from Grand Rapids MI.

Up there in the upper midwest, do make sure you're taking Vitamin D most - and perhaps even all - of the year

    Best,
    Katherine

Blood pressure has decreased from a longstanding 135/80 to a respectable 102/66. HDL increased 17 points, LDL decreased 75 points.

Welcome to the tribe! Looking through your post it looks like you have a good start.

Going primal is a journey and you've come to the right place.

There are many here, well read and smart, who can answer the questions that will undoubtedly come up.

    Good luck, Grock On!
