Does anyone here use MCT oil? Is it worth the extra money or should I stick with extra virgin coconut oil?

I use it to make homemade mayo when I don't want the mayo to taste like any particular oil. (It also stays a good consistency in the fridge.) A bottle goes a long way, because I don't make mayo often.

I've been adding a tablespoon of extra virgin coconut oil to my coffee in the morning, so I was wondering if MCT oil would be a better option.

Yes. I make bulletproof coffee with grass fed butter and MCT oil. Before I ordered the MCT I used coconut oil. You can definitely tell the difference. MCT oil seems much more potent. No need to buy Dave Asprey's expensive brand, now brand from amazon is fine.

Thanks, markbt. I use grassfed butter as well. That stuff is so good it almost doesn't make it into my cup.

I love a tablespoon of MCT oil as a pre-workout snack on days when I take a dance class at what would normally be my dinner time. I also buy Now brand from Amazon.
