How much grams of carbs are (about) in a roll of Sushi?

In days I work out at the gym I just feel like I can't make it without "real" carbs...

It varies greatly depending on how many pieces and the types of fillings: Calories in Sushi Rolls | Nutrition Facts

Mmmmm. Seems like once a week 2-3 rolls is not too bad.

I don't know about how many grams, I don't count, but I also use sushi for this. I generally eat pretty low carb high fat, but about once a week, usually after an intense workout, I like to go out for all you can eat sushi. I eat huge amounts of rice and fish before going back to my usual way of eating. It seems to work very well. It definitely has a lot of carbs, but at least for me, that is what I want.

I've found that when I make sushi at home, it works out to one cup of dry rice pre-cooking per four regular-sized rolls or servings of nigiri-style. Specialty rolls can have twice as much rice. Some restaurants use much more rice in their sushi than others.

Ya, waaaaay too much variance to trust any online stats IMO. I just look for fresh nigiri and enjoy. The rolls are tasty but the fillings and sauces get pretty silly.

I recommend picking apart the roll and counting and/or weighing every grain of rice, just to be sure.

Careful, some might take you seriously.

I've been having sushi once a week lately since they make it at the co-op where I now work. I don't care how many carbs are in it at that amount of intake. As long as eating it doesn't trigger an all-out carb binge I'm happy since I love it!

    This may be helpful: http://www.wegmans.com/pdf/nutrition/sushi.pdf

Or this: The Sushi FAQ - Listing all the calories in Sushi and Sashimi (with WW points too)

I just go for the straight up sashimi... or I devour hamachi kama or salmon skin handrolls, minus the rice... But if you're going for rice, try and have them make the rolls with a little less than they normally do... And make it brown rice!
