New To PB. Help with PB fitness
I am a 50 year old woman about a week into the eating plan and am ready to think about the fitness end. I have reviewed Mark's e-book on fitness where he gives the different types of "Weight" excercises. Would I just start out doing Level 1 of the Pushup, Pullup, Squat and Plank? Just the number of reps specified?
If I'm not mistaken, there's something in the ebook about evaluating your fitness level. You should do whatever level of the progressions that you are capable of. When you hit the recommended reps, you should be able to move on to the next "level".
Walking is always the easiest way to start incorporating fitness into your routine. Then the doing the level 1 is a great start; don;t be afraid to scale any of the movements if you are unable to do them at first. (ex, pushups from your knees, pull-ups with a band for assistance, etc...) Scaling the exercises is the best way to work yourself into a program without being discouraged at all.
And most importantly, stick to it once you start. Best of luck!
