    Where are the 50+ y.o. women?

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
    I'd like to read some success stories, see some before-and-afters for women my age.

    Especially looking for first-hand experience with:
    - the hormonal aspects of our age (i.e., post-menopause)
    - focus on eating patterns that worked for you with moderate activity and no hard-core workouts

    Just turned 50. No sign of menopause!

    In ketosis for 3weeks now and have never felt better.

    I'm 58. Long past menopause. I'd be jumping up and down and waving my hands, but I'm tired from doing handstand pushups. I guess that's kind of hard core.

    Present! I am 63 (and still have to remind myself) and finished a Whole30 earlier this month. Lost 2 inches in waist and 2 inches in hips, 17lbs. and am down a size. So, of course after taking a few days off, I jumped right back in.

    I know that the goal should be better health and not weight loss. So I do feel much better but I'm not turning up my nose at weight loss, especially at an age where it is supposed to be sooooo hard to do. Are you kidding? Strangely, trying to follow Paleo was a little difficult for me but the more strict Whole30 is a breeze. Go figure.

    No hardcore stuff, just walking and some gym where I work on muscle strength retention and if my strength increases so much the better. Would love to combine some sprints with my walking but knees disagree with me. My obsession right now is digging stuff out of the back of my closet to see if it fits and most of the time it does! That would have been enough in the past but now I want that old stuff to literally fall off of me. I am so excited!

    Really helpful to retrain yourself and to find what foods you are allergic or sensitive to. I bought their book "it starts with food" which I used. Very good.
