    which cow part is this?

    Primal Fuel
    I'm having fun learning cow anatomy here in Spain. this cut is from the 'lomo' or loin in english. This is from the lower part. there are no bones in it. Is this a sirloin steak in the US?

    BTW, I didn't eat them both. I couldn't even finish one!

    Hopefully the attachment will be approved by moderators before this thread ends up 50 pages back, but it's a weekend, so I wouldn't count on it.

    According to Wikipedia, it is beef tenderloin.

    Looks like a couple of ribeye...
    That's a boneless beef loin, not tenderloin.
    The tenderloin is a different, smaller, and leaner thing. Sliced it would make little filet mignon.
