I followed that project on YouTube as it unfolded. He said he feels he's a bit of a hardgainer.

There's another "eat 5000 calories a day for a month" project on YouTube where the experimenter abandoned the project after putting on a pound a day for a week.

    Well written report.

Peter Attia is another individual who ate massively *more* calories (fat) and his waist *shrunk*, and his blood tests improved.

I'm in the process of doing a self test on our steak & eggs thread; how far can in increase calories of steak & eggs before I finally start gaining fat!

Yeah, I had seen somewhere that his bodytype was more fat resistant.

The Swimmer Michael Phelps used to eat 12,000 calories per day, mostly processed carbs and he did not get fat either! Personally I eat 4,500 calories these days, and I don't think that I am gaining any fat, but I work out a lot to avoid that to happen! Pulling a sled to the south-pole and you will lose weight on 10,000 calories, so everything depends...

Sounds like a bit of a publicity stunt. There was a pretty cool BBC documentary a while back on overfeeding.
