    Schnitzel I would try. Some regional specialties aren't worth it to me though, even though I don't have any intolerances. I've been in the Netherlands for a year and I haven't tried bitterballen, pannenkoeken, croquettes, stroopwafel, etc. So much of the "you gotta try it" Dutch stuff is just unappealing fried stuff.

    They got it right with the raw herring though!

    What about falafel in Israel? With the pita. Would you go for it? :-)

    Having an excuse to have a pizza every day is a good reason to fly to Italy :-)

    Or learn to make your own as tasty as any with gluten in it.
