Easy way for extra calories when everything you eat gives you stomach pains
Ugh. For the last two days everything I eat gives me stomach pains and cramps (I was at my parents over the weekend so there may have been something that I didn't check carefully enough in what I ate). I feel fine otherwise, but I am starving and feeling the effects of not eating.
So, what are some fairly benign, but high calorie/nutrient dense things to eat that might be gentler on my stomach? I started a pot of bone broth today, but that doesn't usually fill me up.
Plain white rice and ground beef with lots of butter?

What about adding potatoes to the bone broth? I find a cup of hot tea and a big, salted avocado always settles my stomach.
