    In honour of fatty friday

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
    I created a true steak burger:

    Between two pieces of fatty steak I put:
    Bacon
    Chicken
    lamb mince
    tomato
    cheese
    some green stuff I found in the fridge.


    It was awesome. Meat juice dripped down my hands like an old fashioned works burger. The only thing missing was beetroot. A wise man once told me that a burger without beetroot is like a shower without water.


    Instructions: Cook your steak first - I used thick steak and I really recommend you find a very thin cut - maybe veal.

    Leave your steak aside and let it cool.

    Then cook everything else you want and put it in between the two pieces of steak.

    Next time I will try and have an egg and maybe find meat from another animal so I can eat five animals at once.

    Alright! That sounds fantastic, especially the juicy part!

    I had a plate of scrambled eggs mixed with heavy cream, and then topped with raw mozza cheese, and an avocado then I sprinkled on real bacon bits!

    are we going to dedicate this thread to posting what we ate today? i'll be posting pictures, but not till lunchtime

    so far i've eaten half a piece of bacon and had a wad of coconut oil in my coffee.

    I forgot about fatty Friday, darn it... breakfast was an avocado with salsa and sour cream though, so it was fairly fatty. I just put extra cream in my coffee to help make up for it. =]

    i totally want to brag with you, i just don't want to thread jack, but then, i can see how 500505395 started threads about what they ate today could be annoying, too!

    coconut oil in coffee is rather nice. i drink my coffee black and prefer a bolder, nuttier roast, so adding the oil just enhanced the flavor of that. went down smoother too.

    I always add coconut oil to my tea in the afternoon so that I get a few calories rather than snacking on something that I don't really need. It actually tastes great with most teas. Highly recommend!

    Post your photos/meals to the group if you would like to. I followed Bushrat to keep the feeds on Fatty Friday running but if we could all post on the group that would be wonderful.

    I've just bought a new camera I'm itching to try (I'm bragging too!!) so I'll take some pics later.

    I had a scotch fillet cooked in dripping in the cast iron skillet and dressed with home made herb butter. Fat is good.

    Couple cups of coffee with *eegads* amounts of coconut milk. Fat is king.
