What is the best way to eat a deer tenderloin? Only one problem it's been sitting in the freezer for about 1 yr I don't know if its still good... I was thing of making jerky out of it or stuffing it with jalapeños, cream cheese and wrapping it up in bacon and cook it with some mesquite on the grill...

Slow braise it in the oven with red wine, tomato paste, garlic, onion and honey. Oh yea.

Pound it out with a tenderizer, stove top pan fry it in butter, serve with sautéed onions and melt some cheese over it.

Crockpot with onions, carrots, and potato. Cook the loin for about 4 hours, then add veg for another two.
