    The 'Posts" label, under the 'Join Date', on each post is constant, at least on yours. It's 252 from page 1 to this page, 31. It must be the total number of posts which is constantly updated. But that can't be right because it's been the same number for several days now. Unless you mean some other number. Let's forget it, anyway. It's sure not critical. Just that all the current political bru-ha-ha wonders me.

    How did last night go? Please tell.

    Crypto..I show 306 posts. Each time someone posts, the number reflects that. Maybe refresh your screen?

    Hey Sol et al;

    Back from trip. Very fun and enjoyed students but very very tired. Just had a two hour nap and I almost never do that.
    I was thinking about what helps me get sleepy and I noticed someone suggested reading cookbooks.

    There might something to that. I often will read the stuff "between the recipes" about the culture / food prep you find in many cookbooks, most common in ethnic cooking as background information. It's not too exciting but interesting to know, and it is one thing I do "downshift" before sleeping. Maybe spend 15-30 minutes on that--kinds of ingredients / pantry items often found in cookbooks either in index or intro which is also informative but not too thrilling. Good way to improve cooking knowledge and slow down at the same time. Some of the stories many writers tell about where they were when they tried the recipe, who made for them (travel style cookbooks) can also be really a good choice for relaxation before bed. These are easy to get at the Library so you aren't spending money. Maybe try that. Bring a backpack and the lads need never know what you are carrying. . . so what did you do this weekend anyway, now that you are over a month sober and things are looking up?

    Glad you had a good time blue.
    Love reading the recipe thread on here.
    Didn't do much over the weekend(money).
    Did go over to see my dad who is a fantastic cook. He made me a primal breakfast. He was shocked when I told him not to cut the fat off the bacon. I had to help him up when I told him it was ok to put butter in my scrambled eggs

    He asked me what I had done with the real sol. Who are you?

    That's a big question. You might not know who the real sol is for awhile, but it sounds like he's surfacing, doesn't it? I really think the "no sleep" thing is linked to that somehow. It sure was for me anyway. Don't know if I've found the real blue yet either, but must admit it is an interesting journey just looking.

    Aren't scrambled eggs with butter amazing? Wait till you are mopping out the cooled bacon grease with a finger--then the pleasure of grok-living really kicks in. Fat-free sucks and always has
