    Take the All Bran challenge

I just had to share this. Today a very professional + glossy printed booklet came through my door advertising kellogs all-bran. It says on the front

'Do you often suffer from a bloated feeling in your stomach? Feel sluggish a lot?'

It then goes on - 'take the 5 day all bran challenge' . . . etc etc

OMG! Kellogg's has been saying that about All Bran for decades. My mom was told to feed me that crap for my little bloated tummy and constipation when I was 5 y/o (40 yrs ago!).

It didn't work then and it doesn't work now.

My mother fed me all the bread and cake in the world, bless her, but even she thinks bran is the devil's ear-hair clippings.

That is what you eat and that is what will come out. GREAT for your digestive lining.

Yeah... All-Bran is like eating wood chips.

A long time ago when I was on a medication that caused serious issues with constipation it was recommended that I use fibers including All-Bran.
The All-Bran lead to having bloody BMs until I stopped using it.
That does not seem too healthy.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.

Aww...I used to love All Bran. It turned into the most delicious mush in milk. I suspect I would feel it the whole way through, now though.

I think my mother's goal is to see how much wheat bran she can eat before she dies.
