Aroy-D coconut milk in cans or powder

    Primal Fuel
Several posters recommended Aroy-D coconut milk. I can find it only in cans. Does having one can per day make you consume too much of that BPA thing? If yes should I get powder as a healthier alternative?

You can make it yourself maybe ? From dried shredded coconut, water, cheese-cloth and blender. There are some youtube videos showing the process.

I'm thinking mixing one can (400ml) with 2 scoops of ON 100% whey protein. That should give me 75g of fat, 48g of protein, 15 grams of carbs (8 from coconut milk and 7 from protein supplement). It should be a good daily shake, but I'm not sure about BPA in those cans.

I also stopped eating foods from cans because of BPA. I am actually processing my shredded coconut into so-called coconut butter. I don't bother with coconut milk anymore.

Try your local Asian market for these. One tetra runs about $3.

Mine used to carry it and sometimes would have great sales on it but, for some reason they stopped and only carry some brands that have bunches of gums and stabilizers in them. So, I'm left with Amazon.

Also the link I posted is coconut cream not milk so it has a lower water content. You can dilute it if you want for drinking or leave it thick for coffee. So it is more dense per cubic whatever which somewhat offsets the cost.

BTW, I have also ordered it from these people:

All Natural Coconut Cream from Thailand, Available Online at ImportFood.com

It took a little longer to arrive than Amazon but the price is better.
