I'd say corn. Less processing, slightly more micronutrients via the slaked lime, and they tend to be smaller. I THINK it's fewer carbs too. Ideally, neither, of course, but if you cave the corn is slightly better.
OK...I'm going to cheat a bit tonight. I've been on this gig for 3 weeks & I've shed 21 pounds (yes, I have a LOT to lose....about 100 pounds more than I already have). Anyway, I think I'm going to have fajitas, but I crave a tortilla (or 2). Should I go with the flour tortillas or corn? These will be homemade (restaurant made), not heavily processed, store bought crap. Thanks in advance!

Given choice, I'd go with corn on that one. At least corn is gluten free.
Neither is a good choice, but Corn is better than flour. I would load extra guacamole and sour cream on the fajita.

Get the No tortilla style... That would be the good choice! Cravings are in your head, carb addiction fighting back! Good luck!! Be brave! Don't think that if you lost 20 lb! Another 100 will b easy! And eating tortillas won't help for sure.

Y'all were right.....by 5:40 central, I was delving into my fajitas. I had a whopping 6 corn chips, 2 corn tortillas and about a half cup of pinto beans. I know it wasn't necessary, but I LOVE the beef fajitas & tortillas at Lupe Tortillas and I really wanted to go out to dinner without completely blowing it. We've been doing great not eating out, considering we used to (read: as recently as 3.5 weeks ago) go OUT for dinner & eat absolute garbage 4 nights a week on average.
Surprisingly, I feel pretty good today. Definitely a LITTLE more sluggish than I have been, but that may be due to the fact that I'm doing my first IF today. I had a little beef jerky at around 8pm last night, but I haven't eaten since then. Strictly coffee (black) and water since I got up today. I plan to eat again at around 6pm, so it won't be a FULL 24 hour fast, but pretty dang close & pretty good for this 300+ pound fatty who just started this journey 3.5 weeks ago.
Another shocker to me....I'm WAAAAAYYYYYY not a morning person. Literally, my normal wakeup time is somewhere between 7:45 & 8am....usually woken by my kiddos. Since I started primal, I'm waking up in the mornings to go walk through the neighborhood for 50 minutes or so. I hit the rack right at 10pm last night & my alarm was set for 6:30. Much to my surprise, I woke up at 5:50 & felt energized, so I got up that moment & started the day extra early. I may just wind up becoming a morning person before it's all said & done!!!
