    Salted vs unsalted

Is there any nutritional difference/rational for eating unsalted vs. Salted kerrygold? Or is it just a taste preference?

If you're going to use it in coffee, the salted might taste weird.

I eat it straight up...just wondering if there was a nutritional reason why unsalted would be recommended over salted.

Unless you have a reason to monitor sodium, no major difference.

Personally I find salted butter impractical for cooking because I already use anchovy sauce, cayenne sauce, etc.

I think the main point of unsalted butter is for baking where you want exact control of your ingredients.

    All of the above.

I prefer the salted and my partner prefers the unsalted so we get both. I think it's a taste thing for us. I can't understand what the point of unsalted butter is. It doesn't taste like anything.
