    Non-Dairy Based Protein Shakes?

    Primal Fuel
It looks like most protein shakes seem to be whey based (cheap and plentiful). I'm allergic to dairy so can anyone recommend something else for a quick and easy shake that's high protein?

Hemp protein powder is available at most health minded places (just saw it at Sprouts).
The above should be viewed as complete and utter nonsense.

Savingdinner.com has a line of protein powders. Can't say I've tried them.

I've got one by metagenics called aminoplex based on rice-protein. Not entirely primal, but certainly dairy free!

Have you tried whey incidently? Most milk allergies are casein stimulated (the other milk protein). Including mine... But I'm pretty cautious about it.

There is also egg protein powder. The best known brand is JayRobb I believe. I still son't see why anyone would want to drink their protein when eating it is so much tastier and better for you.

I second the recommendation for egg protein, but beef protein isolate is also an option if you feel you have to get protein from a powder.

Crack an egg into your blender, and there ya go, protein in your shake.
Stumbled into Primal due to food allergies, and subsequent elimination of non-primal foods.

Or just skip the blender. Raw eggs in a glass are about the quickest meal I know how to make.

You might want to reconsider that.
