Talking with DH about the How Often Should We Have Sex thread brought up Viagra (of course). I told him I thought 99.9% of the guys on Viagra look nothing like the guys in the ads. He apparently thinks he's the only slender guy under 40 who doesn't need help, lol. A Google search of who takes Viagra was *so* messy. Does anyone know an easy way to find out what kind of guys take Viagra?
CW-125, part calorie counting, part transition to primal
GW- Goals are no longer weight-related
Any guy who thinks they have ED and can get their Dr to prescribe it, but quietly.
Thanks to Primal, I doubt that I will ever need it. I don't at 70.
Ancestral Health Info - My main blog about Primal and the general ancestral health movement for people who want to take a flexible approach.
I'm 40, and I don't need drugs to help me get it done.
I did a google search using the term: statistics for men under 40 using viagra and got this.
Personally, i think the number one reason this is a problem for men in the US is circumcision. But aside from that, I think the second reason is poor pelvic alignment/positioning. To that, I recommend, this.
in addition, mineral problems can be a part of the picture -- such as not having enough zinc in the system. working with a naturopath to make sure all of the vitamins and minerals are in good amounts can be helpful.
testosterone is important, so finding ways to boost that is also helpful. weight lifting does a lot for that. having sex in the morning (with the morning wood) is a supposedly a good way to boost the am testosterone surge. Dietary fat is also important for testosterone production -- particularly saturated fat and monounsaturated from red meat, eggs, olives and olive oil, avocados, etc.
anyway, hope that helps or whatever.
I don't take Viagra, at 57, don't need it.
But in all seriousness, often Viagra is prescribed because ED is one of the side effects of several prescription medications. One of the most common of which was blood-pressure medications. So I suppose a common Viagra user would be a man that takes several prescription meds.
AKA: Texas Grok
A lot of diabetic men use it, even younger ones. They have damage to the nerves of the wiggly bits and can have a problems getting it up and keeping it up; for them its great. As tekas.grok says medication users- antidepressants, antipsychotics and lots of other effect libido or cause erectile dysfuntion
when you're searching for that kind of info add demographic to the search string and if you are after factual things use google scholar. (google homepage, tab menu 'more' from drop down menu select 'even more' scroll down to specialised search and click on scholar)
It brings up stuff like this
demographic viagra - Google Scholar

I tried it twice recreationally and nothing happened : /
"Ah, those endless forests, and their horror-haunted gloom! For what eternities have I wandered through them, a timid, hunted creature, starting at the least sound, frightened of my own shadow, keyed-up, ever alert and vigilant, ready on the instant to dash away in mad flight for my life. For I was the prey of all manner of fierce life that dwelt in the forest, and it was in ecstasies of fear that I fled before the hunting monsters."
