Good morning, I started my Whole30 on May 1st. I also omit nightshades but during this continuing month I may try to reintroduce tomatoes and peppers one at a time. On Day 15 I added the AIP which takes away coffee, eggs, ghee as well as the grains, alcohol, dairy, sugar, alcohol.
I found the coconut meat bloats me. Nuts are a no brakes food, so I don't eat them.
I did well. While in a healthy BMI, I want to drop 8 pounds of fluff I put on when I took a desk job last fall. Eating Primal Blueprint since January did take off 3 but I couldn't budge the additional 5. The 3 were from a flour/sugar two week December blowout on vacation. I didn't make my 5 pound goal, it was 4.6 on day 31. The focus really shifts from weight to health on the Whole 30.
