    How to handle the slower weight loss?

    Primal Fuel
    It's tough to eat so much and wonder how i am going to lose any weight like this? I'm eating so much fat it's making me wonder. I get it and I get it but I don't.

    Trust me, I love the new found "energy" I have but it's the weight loss I am also after. I know I got to be patient.

    I got a good 15 or 20 pounds to go and I am so use to FAST STARVATION DIETS that give me quick results but obviously short term which is why I am not going that route anymore!!

    I know I got to chill and I am committed to this forever.....I guess I should just forgetaboutit and move on....My weight loss is just so darn turtle pace slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry, just venting...I need to be patient...it's tough.

    Day 19 tomorrow, here I come!!

    the way to look at it is that you're eating so much food and not gaining weight,

    that's something to celebrate

    well, I get that part and agree it's nice to eat all these wonderful foods...BUT....I rather wear a slim jim bikini too this summer and have the weight come off faster than at the end when summers over!! lol

    Does that mean squatting will help get the LB's off faster? It is the largest muscle mass I got...hmmm, something to consider. Thanks!

    Well, why don't you just eat less then? Smaller portions.
    Female, 5'3", 49, Starting weight: 163lbs. Current weight: 135 (more or less).
    Starting squat: 45lbs. Current squat: 170 x 3. Current Deadlift: 220 x 3

    Don't just go by weight. Go by measurements too. Biceps, chest, waist, hips, thighs.

    In 2 weeks, I'd lost almost 10# and about an inch from each of the above measurements.

    I say about, because I decided to only make "official" measurements about once a month. I've already lost about 3 more # or so this week also.

    Are you tracking? Maybe you're just eating too much overall. I know primal is intended to be satiating with high fats but you can certainly overdo it, and high fat doesn't work for everyone.

    And secondly...19 days. Be patient.
