tabata and heart rate
Last time I tried sprints, almost 2 months ago, I peed all over myself and haven't had the courage to try again since. I decided I would try doing sprints on an exercise bike. Much better. I didn't pee on myself.
The exercise bike takes my heart rate. If my maximum heart rate is 220 - age = 172 and I reached 172, was I going too hard? It actually felt easier on the bike than on the track.
(I did the tabata thing using an app that beeps at me. So 8 sets of 20 seconds with 10 second rests is what I think it does.)
Female, 5'3", 50, Starting weight: 163lbs. Current weight: 135 (more or less).
I can squat 192.5lbs, press 75lbs and deadlift 210lbs
