I spend roughly $200 every 2 weeks. It really depends what is on sale and what I crave more.

By myself and occasionally cooking for my girlfriend, I spend around $750/month on food. Perhaps my addiction to organic berries isn't financially responsible.
I wish I liked to eat liver.

The freezer makes them taste different according to him, so that's a no go.

family of 5, 150-175 a week shopping at a local discount market. I get lots of organic food for next to nothing. I also shop the local market but I could go broke if I did that exclusively. I try not to make a big deal about money/food.. Too many people cut their food budgets down to nothing yet have full cable packages and gym memberships they don't use. I'd much rather spend on our health and go workout outside (and watch nature instead of the latest bad reality show).
